DESCRIPTION

Conceptualizing the idea of ascension to an otherworldly dimension, Transfiguration explores the removal of the physical image from the self by repetitive generations of the same movement until it dissipates into nothingness.

Multiple versions of the self are projected and performed onto a blank wall as the artist creates a combination of composed and cathartic movements. A camera is pointed onto a projection of its own live feed and the artist performs in between. This results to a generative video-feedback, creating abstract and propagative images, recursively repeating itself forever.

Perpetually suspended between rebirth and destruction.
